As we add housing, we need to plan for the complete neighbourhood, not just the number of units. That means ensuring growth is supported by parks, sidewalks, active transportation, transit and the infrastructure residents rely on.
I will ensure these needs are considered at the beginning of the planning process, with growth helping to support the infrastructure it requires. We can increase housing supply while also building connected, safe and vibrant neighbourhoods where people want to live.
