During my last term on Lambton County, we approved three affordable housing units (Indigenous Apartment on Confederation St., affordable apartment on London Road and the still under construction units on Kathleen Ave.). While this represents progress, we need to move much quicker from approval to completion. As such, I would expect new projects that reflect realizable goals with a completed schedule date during the current upcoming term. Anything less than completed projects does little to alleviate the current housing shortfalls and documented needs.
